Microsoft Word 2007

Since I don't have Word 2007, I can't provide you with an MLA styled template (I'm asking for volunteers to make one for this website). However, I do know that two problems with the default Word 2007 template are, first, that its default font is Calibri and, second, that triple spaces at the end of paragraphs, which will earn your paper an MLA style penalty. Refer to the following print screen to fix the paragraph spacing, and remember to change your font to Times New Roman 12.

Since the University doesn't have Word 2007, you can't submit papers for peer review in the normal format with the docx extension. You must "Save As" Word 1997-2003 with the doc extension or Rich-Text Format with the rtf extension.
